Have you ever had someone insist on helping you with something and despite their good intentions keep making things worse? Finally, in exasperation you put your hands up and say, "Please stop helping!"
That's exactly the problem that Muslims are facing with liberals and leftists. Many Muslims feel that the actions of these 'well meaning' liberals are exactly the same as that of their radical Islamic oppressors. Today's liberal mindset is the same radical Islamic mindset they are fleeing from.

"If liberals are in favor of freedom of speech, why do they turn a blind eye to Islamist governments such as Iran, which execute people for expressing their opinion? And why do they not let people in the West express their opinion without attacking them or even giving them the respect of hearing what they have to say? They seem, in fact, like the autocratic people from whom I was fleeing, who also did not want their simplistic, binary way of thinking to be threatened by logic or fact."
"As, in Islam, one is not allowed to attack except to defend the prophet or Islam, extremist Muslims need to keep finding or creating supposed attacks to make themselves appear as victims."
"If you truly stand for values such as peace, social justice, liberty and freedoms, your apologetic view of radical Islam is in total contradiction with all of those values. Your view even hinders the efforts of many Muslims to make a peaceful reformation in Islam precisely to advance those values."

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a women's rights activist, criticizes what she considers the "apologetic attitude" of liberals around the world toward identifying the religious component to Islamic terrorism and calls such a mindset "masochistic and stupid."
"Radical Islamic terrorists don't go to liberals and say, "Thank you so much, we'll stop terrorizing you." because the left refuses to identify terrorism's religious component."

Maybe the reason that liberals are so hated in the world today is because no one can understand their logic or thought process. It makes no sense. Why do liberals, especially women, admire and romanticize a misogynistic religion like Islam?
Who, but a liberal, would go and follow an anti-feminist woman like Linda Sarsour on a women's rights march in the morning...carry signs at a gay rights protest in the afternoon...and that evening attend a pro-Islam rally defending a religion that would execute them merely for what they did that same morning and afternoon.
Defending a religion that takes rape victims and stones them to death for "committing adultery"
Defending a religion that takes gay men and throws them off of rooftops or publicly hangs them.
Are they confused? Uninformed? Or do they just like pissing people off, like that annoying person who you tell, "Quit touching me" and they wiggle their finger half an inch from your face while repeating, "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you."
